There were 17 people present and one visitor who did not sign in.
Our President reminded everyone to sign in, pay dues, purchase raffle tickets and all that good stuff.
Introductions were made by everyone present.

Foster’s health remains poor a CT Scan was done recently and he has a doctors appointment shortly after this meeting were additional information may come to light. A card will be sent to Foster, W4HCX, last month and another this month hoping he gets well soonest.

Announcements / Discussion:
The repeater’s antenna was raised, which seems to have helped most people, but has caused multipath issues for others.
Old Business:
Food for Field Day was a success! Operation was much less successful and came down primarily to lack of operator familiarity with the station set up. There were a lot of cooks in the kitchen, so to speak. There were two FT8 contacts. No logs were submitted.
A request was raised to reimburse Jerry, N7HYV, for the food purchased. This as approved by the membership. Sadly, the chili and condiments were forgotten about on the counter.
The web site now shows the new club logo, courtesy of Beth, KK7ZZM, (gotta love that callsign!). Club Officers are correct. Unfortunately, the scanner is still there.
Final reminder of Jerry Fuge’s (KC7ILH) funeral arrangements with times and locations.
New Business:
An update will need to be sent to ArtSci Press who publish a repeater directory. The Secretary made an addendum to them when I first took over the job and I guess I need to send another update in hopes of fixing the meeting location both there and on QRZ. In any case, that needs to be fixed and is an open item.
There was a visitor present, Mike, who was looking for information regarding licensing and repeaters in the area. There was a lot of hopefully, helpful information provided.
There was a brief discussion of the Annual Thirteen Colonies Event, which a couple of people participated in.
There was a discussion of the Club Station at the Nye County Museum. Please use the club callsign (W7NYK) at the museum. Also, I brought up the need to replace the simple 40-meter dipole with something having multiple bands. The club appears unwilling to donate and the discussion died.
The Silver State Classic Challenge with be held shortly. Please see their web site for details if you wish to volunteer to aid in the race (http://www.ssccc.us <- yes, that really is the web address).
Christmas party discussion. Debbie will report back next meeting with possible locations for between 20 and 30 people.
The meeting was adjourned at approximately 5:51 pm.
